Last year I replaced the clutch slave in my Sycnro without lowering the engine. If I recall correctly, I used a 12pt 13mm box wrench (cut in half) and a 13mm "crow foot" 3/8 drive on a ratchet with 3" extension and/or universal joint. It was hard to keep the wrench on the bolt inside the mounting bracket...wish I would have thought of the garden hose idea... It took me almost 3 hours of futzing around, but I did get the old one out and the new one in. Next time I'll lower the engine...
