You can do the swap single handedly. I've removed my seats several
times, for one reason or another, without any assistance.
There's a little latch on the seat track that has to be held up once the
seat has been moved to the forwardmost position. You either need 3
hands or find a little tool to hold it up. Small screwdriver, nail, or
some such. With the latch held, you can just slide the seat forward off
the rails. Anyway, after you slide the seat all the way forward, you'll
see what has to be done.
