As long as ETKA does not try to write to certain locations(don't remember which ones, but there are a few) while you are running it in user mode, it will be fine. All that to say, try it, and if it doesn't work, you'll know. (It is a bit concerning that ETKA writes to the C: drive, since that is one of the locations Vista locks down -- from what I remember). But, if it is your computer, you should have no problems, since you can get to admin mode whenever you want.
