Take these with a grain of salt (or a rim of salt if you have a Margarita handy)....after the week I've had with my 87 Westy, some of this has been theraputic..

Who did the least amount of pre-trip mechanical repair work prior to leaving for the event?

Who spent the least amount of $$ preparing their van for the trip?

Who broke down the least amount of time on the way to the event?

Most miles travelled.

Most miles travelled on the back of a flatbed or tow truck to the event.

Which van used the least oil?

Biggest coolant drip contest - Contestants will be given a 4' by 4' piece of cardboard which is placed under the engine, run their engines at idle for 15 minutes, then shut it off. After 30 minutes cardboards will be removed and area covered by coolant drip measured.

Biggest fuel drip contest - Contestants will be given a 4' by 4' piece of cardboard which is placed under the fuel tank. Fuel tanks will be filled to maximum with gerry cans. After 30 minutes, cardboards will be removed and area covered by fuel measured.

Most creative repair of rust seam. Only one rule...repair cannot use replacement metal panels.

Most creative use of duct tape to keep van together.

Most number of roaches found under the drivers seat.

Largest hole or tear on poptop canvas.

Which van has the most functioning lights, including instrument lights and idiot lights.
