Subject: Re: Dometic insulation

Yes, gassing off.Thats what I thought. RV dealers said that the number 1 complaint when delivering new motor homes is the gassing off of fridge insulation. 1 week is common. These products went beyond that without let up. the smelllingered for a month withthe green fiberglass treated witha fire proffing and regular yellow wall insulation. The inswool seemed to let up after a week and may work. I gave up on all of them.Rv Dealers could not sell me the insulation they use and said it was not avaliable. Dometic did not have it as a part, and said it use regualr wall insulation. I say keep the old stuff.
