I should have been clearer. I'm following the Bentley, and this is a syncro so I've got the mount bolts of and the engine is slanting down the recommended amount (lowered 6" at the rear flange) plus a little more.

The problem is getting access to the bolt at the back of the slave bracket, which is actually up inside the bracket and I can't really get to it on the underneath side while the slave itself is in place. The top -where the nut is - isnt that much easier, either. I've got the cooling hoses disconnected from the bellhousing of course, but there is little real room to move a wrench back there.

Maybe a ratchet box 13mm would work, I dunno cause I don't have one, but even then I'm afraid there isn't clearance for one because of the closeness of the body of the slave cylinder.
