Are you talking about adding the idle air control device and small electronic control unit from a 2.1 waterboxer to another engine ? Never considered it, if that's what you're talking about. Interesting idea. Never saw the need. I have some of those parts that I could sell perhaps........ The electronic control device falls under the category of those vanagon parts that are far more valuable to have, in case one is needed, than what they bring in $ by selling one...... I know vanagon guys with certain parts they'd just rather not sell, even at any price almost. I'm getting that way about a few semi-unobtainable parts myself, here and there. Scott www.turbovans.com
