Leave the existing original type fridge fan alone after making sure it is working and not noisy due to bad bearing. Add the exhaust fan and control it with a switch.

The original fan is on an automatic thermoswitch and this fan is needed much of the year. The added exhaust fan is only needed in warmer weather.
