Well, this is interesting.

I checked my '84 7 pass, '84 Westy and my '85 Westy.

One is 42 3/4", another 43 1/2 inches and the other 43 3/4 inches. The '85 Westy has a tow loop hitch on it and is at 43 3/4 inches.
