Pascal, yes the window slides properly, I didn't take the locking tab out, it simply depresses when pressed in the guide, and I don't know the difference between the old and the new pieces. I ordered them from Bus Depot. If you have the ETKA can you tell me the part number for the felt seals that seal against the glass of the sliding window? There is a vertical frame and a horizontal at the bottom to seal the window. These are very worn in my van and it causes noise.
