I have a 81 Vanagon. I ordered 2 front spindle nuts from NAPA but they sent me the wrong ones so I re-used the old ones(front brakes and repacking bearings). I put them back on until I got it just snug. I could slightly turn the nut back and forth. I punched in the 2 notches on the nut and the nut still had slight play. The wheels turn easy and the bearing is snug. Should I just leave it be or should I re-order 2 front spindle nuts? From, Thomas
