I found that the stock plastic valve, the forever slipping cable & retaining clip is a real pain to get to, adust, reinstall. I did the switch to the valve available from TK, and other than the popping off of the interior heater cover to access the accessory valve,once in the spring, and once in the winter, the common leaking stock valve and the hot foot problems that I've had in the past are very much a thing of memory.

A simple fix is good, and the accessory valve from TK I found to be very simple, and not difficult to operate. The stock valve's operation isn't simple, and forever problimatic.

I really happy I installed it.
