Folks,

Been sitting on this setup for 3 years, through one house move, and apparently I'm never going to get around to putting it into my Adventurewagen.

The original owner told me the engine is a 2002 (it must be newer than 1999 because the exhaust flange is not symmetrical, he said). He bought it directly from Overland out of a wrecked Jetta with only 8000 miles since the install. Plus a new Vanagon conversion kit from Fast Forward.

1.9l turbo diesel engine (only castings I see are "Germany" "1.9" and "14500", with the turbo, alternator & PS pump; Injection Pump (Bosch label, how tell model#?) installed; Complete Fast Forward kit (never installed): Oil pan, mounting bar & mounting brackets & rubber mounts, flex exhaust, high-torque starter, flywheel, adapter plate & misc. Plus an intercooler.

Here are three pics: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y41/orhiker/DieselEng3.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y41/orhiker/DieselEng2.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y41/orhiker/DieselEng1.jpg

I'll gladly pmail add'l photos, or answer any questions that I can (I'll look for castings if you tell me where they are), but here's the deal: I never ran it, I don't know diesels, and I'm annoyed at myself for not following through on installing it. So, I want as pain-free a deal as possible. Please only email me if you're serious, if you can pay $4500 cash (or Paypal if you eat the fee), which is exactly what I paid for it, and if you're comfortable with an As-Is deal.

**I ALSO HAVE A 98% COMPLETE DIESEL I4 SETUP KIT AS WELL AVAILABLE SEPARATELY.**

Thanks, David J.
