TC, Best that you search the archive for the most complete answer. This question has been asked dozens of times. Try searching "Audi wheels". As quick answer, Syncros and 2wd have different requirements. Syncros can use ET45 w/o spacers. 2wd will have interference with front ends components. Spacers need to have bore of at least 66.7mm which is what you want to make your centerbore if you are not using spacers. Next thing to worry about is studs/bolts. You will need longer ones either way. They will bolt onto the rears. You'll need longer studs. Unless you are in love with the wheels in question or getting them for almost nothing, you might be better off buying wheels that fit to begin with once you've factored in cost of machine work, spacers, and longer studs/bolts.
