Do open windows in a vanagon to naturally ventilate cause just as much of a decrease in mileage as AC? W/ windows up & no AC on, I don't doubt the 2-3 mpg gain, but w/ windows down do you loose 2-3 mpg to increased drag? It wouldn't surprise moi, as I have driven across Kansas/Missouri in the summer w/ the windows down(no AC) to beat the heat, & the drag was amazing, not to mention very noisy. YMMV, Tom B.-hard to hear the stereo w/ the windows down at 70 mph. > > > > > > ______________________________________________________________________ > ______________ > Got a little couch potato? > Check out fun summer activities for kids. > http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=oni_on_mail&p=summer+activities > +for+kids&cs=bz |
