That was a fun Folk Fest last weekend. Not as may VW Buses as in previous years but more than I will see for an entire year on the road. There appears to be only 1 list member, Steve Schwenk, that attended and 1 soon to be list member. He was the stranded one. His van is still down here for awhile. I did run into Ed Stevens. Some of you might remember him from this list in the 90's. He only owned the Westfalia for the sole purpose of going to the fest and spent a fortune on it every year to get it to go. Anyway, he was sporting an '03 Eurovan and a pop top camper this year. He recognized me by my original Vanagon list shirt.

Anyway, I put together a short clip of the vans I saw there. Caution for you West Coasters out there, there are some East Coast Vanagons in this footage which could frighten you. Yes, one of those campers does not have a tent.

The last 10 seconds is actual footage of a Shady Boy awning in 30 mph winds about 1 minute from self destructing. Luckily it just completely dissembled itself and nothing actually broke.
