Use of belt dressing to quiet a squeeking belt, begets use of more belt dressing. My advice, don't ever use belt dressing and you'll never have this problem. I have a feeling that it works this way so that they can keep selling you more. With new belts you don't need it. Old belts may work a little better for a little longer, just putting off the maintenance for a little while. Used car lots love products like this. Don't use snake oil, just do the job right once and be done with it.

BTDT,

Mike B.
