Well, on the second time through it passed with flying colors. Hydrocarbons on the first go were over 500 and only 55 on the second test. On the advice of a friend, I "drove it like I stole it" on the way to the test. Also, gave my AFM 6 full counterclockwise turns on the adjustment screw. I sat at idle for nearly an hour the first time I took it through, so maybe this affected the cat not being completely hot. Either way, phew!! Had a guy offer me $3500 for my van while in line too, ha, ha, ha!

Richard,

Change the oil, remove the air filter and run it hard on the way to the

testing. Tightening the spring in the AFM one click probably would help too.
