CRC Brakleen does a terrific job of making the engine and engine bay clean, probably at some huge cost to the environment. That's what I used on Dixie when I replaced the engine. Still looks nice.

I have a 2.5 Subie to go in there and I'll definitely polish the cam covers before it goes in; they're the smooth kind, without words, so they are going to sparkle! :)

Brent Weide gets the "Prettiest Engine Award", with Benny Boy a close second.
