Richard,

Post the actual figures so we can see real numbers. Was the van nicely warmed up when it was tested or did it sit and cool off before the test? One of my vans, also an `87, failed last week. It was .09 over on CO at idle. Ran it through again today this time making sure that it was well warmed up and it passed by .2 this time. If the Cat is not hot it will not do its job properly. How long has it been since your oil was changed, clean oil can affect the outcome of an I/M test also.
