Dunno if the story is true, but the find in the barn is worth a look...

Cheers, Steve O

Apparently a man from New York retired and wanted to use his retirement money wisely. So it would last he decided to invest in a house and a few acres in Portugal. A modest farmhouse that had been left vacant for 15 years after the former owner and his wife had died with no heirs.

The farmhouse, with industrial size barn and the property was to be sold to pay taxes. While it was for sale there had been several people looking but it had little interest. Mainly because of a large unattractive barn with large steel doors that had been welded shut.

It seems nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to open it up to see what was inside the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so, there had not been any offers on the place.

Regardless the New York guy bought it at just over half of the property's value, he moved in, but .......curiosity was killing him.

So, the new owner and his wife bought a generator, and a couple of grinders.......and cut through the welds.

What was in the barn...............?

Go to;

and start wishing you had bought the place.
