True they would be a strong hold. Possibly stronger than hardware I
used. But....
If I understand correctly, either the head would be above table top,
creating a lumpy surface, or would be just below surface looking
possibly worse than what I did. (really. what i did is a little ugly!)
Besides #8 machine bolts were what I had handy!
