More than just the "Z" bed was furnished by Westfalia; the front seats would have been, since they share the same frame, padding and armrests as the Camper models. The middle left-side panel and folding table are also Westfalia items - they came straight out of the non-GL Camper model. Since the jumpseats, door and side panels shared the same upholstery as the seats, its likely they were part of an interior conversion package.
A while back we discussed where we thought this interior conversion package was installed - I don't know if we ever reached a conclusion. It's possible the non-Camper models were sent to Westfalia for interior installation, but equally as possible that interiors were sent to VW for installation - who knows?
Good luck,
Tim

Well ... it's just a matter of semantics. The "Z" bed was made by
Westfalia (hence the Westfalia tag) but the van isn't a Westfalia
"Conversion". Vanagon owners, as a group, don't call the non-poptop
weekenders "Westfalias".

The Westfalia data plate is there as are the Wolfsburg badges. The owner says it is now as it was when purchased new. If it is not supposed to exist or is a rare model then it might be fun to run a check on the VIN. Jim has that and probably more details if it piques your fancy to investigate. Aren't Vanagons fun?
