hey guys ...
mine is a 1989 5 speed diesel California Edition
all OEM... it goes very fast ... at 4000 rpm it runs a very smooth 80mph
i get 38 mpg
the california package consists of a series of stripes and decals which
include a wind surfer
the machine was imported to canada sometime in the last two years and i got
ot from the last owner
who was not a nice westy owner at all...
they were exchanging a good deal of chatter in german about me and my girl
...
not knowing that my girl understands and speaks limited german...
i have often thought it was a rescue operation like RSPCV
