Subject: Re: Interesting find...

Stranger things have happened. Our company bought a building a few years ago and when I was there checking it out, I noticed an old Rolls Royce sitting uncovered in the back yard of the house next door. Talking with the owners I earned that the father had died a few years before, leaving a collection of 125 cars that he had purchased over the years; they filled several vacant lots the family owned. Guess how he financed it? He was one of the inventors of the trigger for the atomic bomb, and kind of went nuts afterward (urban legend?) and started collecting too many old cars. So the story went; the cars were there, at least. When they started auctioning them they were surprised that a dashboard for a 1930's Rolls sold for, like, $2,000.

No Vanagons in the lot (RVC.)
