If you shop around ahead of time, you should be able to find a place to mount and balance the Hankooks you get from bus depot for as low as $15 a tire. This may work out to be cheaper after all. I've actually never bought tires locally, for different reasons each time, and have always found a mount+balance for under $20 a tire.
