Ditto on the platinum plugs. I have been using them for over 100k and 5 yrs. with no ill effects.

I think that's a stretch. I used to use them and never had a coil problem.

Because he has Buach Platinum plugs  (single electrode)  I'll bet.
I've seen this several time....  NO explaination given...
   The best of the best can not figure it out!!!
