I've used 409 with a fair bit of success on grease, but not heavy
blobs of it. Get the seat area damp with a sponge and spray the 409
right on the spot and use a soft brush on it. Wet it again with the
sponge and vacuum up the moisture. Let it dry completely before you
attack the whole seat so you can see what's what. I found that most
cleaners won't damage the seat color but in fact make the spot look
much cleaner than the rest of the seat so then you gotta do the whole
seat. Doh.
