Vanagon 1

"87=1987 westy=Westfalia without a pop top = no pop top, i.e. there is no tent on top; some Weekenders had them and some didn't as near as I can ascertain Weekender= rear 3-person seat makes a bed and it has fold-out tables but there is no stove, sink or refrigerator AC 936=Texas This vehicle is a Wolfsburg It has two rearward facing jump seats that are quickly removed by pulling pins.

Vanagons 2 & 3 are not Westfalias

Knowing where they are located would make all the difference in the world.

There is local man who has had a bad run of health problems and has decided to sell his three Vanagons. Number 1 is a grey, '87 Westfalia Weekender (not a pop-top), 4-speed with factory air conditioning. It has 142K on the odometer but he says about 40K of that was mileage accumulated towing the vehicle behind an RV. It has a decent body with surface rust just beginning in the seam behind the passenger door and some a bit more advanced behind the driver's door. It has new tires on the front and a new battery and sounds healthy. Asking price is $2400. Tow bar available. Number 2 Vanagon is blue '87 passener van with 4-speed and a small Buick V6 engine installed. The body looks quite sound from a quick look. Trailer hitch available. Vanagon 3 is an '82 body without engine but with transaxle. It is brown. Delivery is a possibility.

Contact information is Jim McMurtray, 936-560-7781 (H) or 936-559-3403 (C) or mac351@suddenlink.net.

As they say ..... not my vans ..... just trying to marry them up with new owners.

Craig
