My first bus was a 71 Dormobile. In 77, I got tired of using it as a daily
driver so me and my wife sold everything, I quit my job as a tv reporter
and we headed for Mexico. Along with our one year old son, we lived on
Catch 22 Beach, just north of San Carlos, on the west coast of Mexico. It
was a happy existence until we ran out of money. We then headed to South
Lake Tahoe where we rented a big house with some friends from Colorado and
worked the casinos. Wow, that was so long ago and so many vans ago
too....wish I had kept the Dormobile.
