I don't know if these cross-breed dealers are a US only thing but I've never seen one anywhere near Winnipeg. If my VW dealer started selling Dodges or any other crappy product I think that would be it for me. The VW dealers here will even work on Vanagons (I couldn't find one in Toronto that would) although at their prices I couldn't afford to keep it on the road ...
