Yah at one point, I was looking for a 9x 240 wagon w/manual + OD. Got past that desire and got myself a new Honda Accord. Yeesh. Don't get me started.

The SU's on the 140's were just fine. In spite of all the hooplah I'd read over tuning them, I picked up a rusty 145 with the OD for a few hundred from a Yolvo shop. Not sure what they did to it, but I found the issue with one of the carbs. Totally maladjusted float. Not hard to setup, though fine tuned the pair weren't.

The other carbs Yolvo installed..... oh what were they....... can't recall. Anyhow, they were shite. Cold/hot start update not withstanding. Anyhow.....

Really enjoyed the wagons while I had them.

Stromberg! That's what the bad ones were!

Neil.
