I need to know how to get the hour, minute, and second hands off the clock's shaft thing. Mellow Yellow's clock has never worked. I did the usual fixes (capacitors, etc.) but it still refuses to tick. A fellow Vanagonite graciously offered me a working one -- handed me the whole instrument panel from which I could extract his clock. But it's from a later model and there are various bits on the molded rear of the clock assembly which are sufficiently different that I can't just transfer the clock + fuel gauge + temp gauge assembly over. What I /could/ do is swap the clock portion only if I could figure out how to get the hands off the clock. Looks fussy. Anyone have any advice along those lines? -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 Type 2: the Wonderbus 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Utility Trailer.
