Could be a bad tach, bad speedo, or something is slipping. 3,800 should get you 68 mph. If the tranny is slipping, get it fixed before you burn up the works. Dennis

MY 89 Vanagn Westy automatic reads 4000rpm on tach at 60 MPH. Is that normal? Or is something slipping ? I seem to remember my '88 running just a little over 3000rpm at the same speed; but who can trust a memory? Keith '89 Westy "DaKapster"
