Subject: CV Joint Bolts in Portland OR
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Where do folks buy their transmission-to-cv joint bolts in the Portland OR area? The high-strength ones with the internal hex or 12-point drive. I need all twelve plus a few spares.

What about misc. rubber boots, bushings, etc., also in Portland?

Anyone have a hydraulic clutch/brake vacuum bleeder they're selling, or can loan for a day? I need to do Cunegonde's lines and also the partner's Subaru Outback (AKA The Future Engine Donor). My motorcycle bleeder pressurizes the reservoir and master cylinder, but a vanagon looks like a job for a vacuum extractor.

I'm happy to support our list vendors, but buying locally when possible is important to me, too. Also, I can bring fresh cookies (and old cigars) to the locals.

Cunegonde's new transmission is in, but obviously the transaxles aren't yet, with a major trip planned for October and the rainy, cold season.
