Basically this is nine month old news, and I know most of you did not like the vehicle. airstream has ended its cooperation to bring in the westfalia sprinter. in my opinion, this was the only true successor to the vanagon westy. the last units were discounted to about $50k, which is a great price for that vehicle imho. see http://www.motorhomemagazine.com/output.cfm?ID=1197145 pictures from the vehicle are still on its dedicated website www.52weekends.com

on a positive note, sportsmbile has now a dedicated poptop available for the sprinter, so if you dont need the name westfalia, but want to get as close as possible to it in size and usability, thats it. 2008 should also bring the 4wd.
