Wes,

I've taken my '91 Carat to Sears several times with good results. I always have them due a thrust alignment to make sure the tracking is correct. I have had to remove swing arms on a different van. With the rear end alignment on that one, I had to call around and take it to a specialty shop to get it done.

Hi all, I just finished doing a bunch of front end work on our westy and want to have my alignment checked. Is there any reason not to go to a pep boys/sears or something similar for this? (They'll be open on Saturday is the advantage.) I had an alignment done at sears on another vanagon that I was very happy with (especially the the price... $60 or so?).

Anything I should know before taking the van somewhere like this?

Thanks, Wes '83 1.9l westy
