First I wrote this : Receding pistons in vanagon rear wheel cylinders ? Does not compute. Not possible. The pistons return to 'zero' each time, and that's it. ..........now, I'm saying they return to 'zero' by the adjuster rod between shoes, the one just below the wheel cylinder. That determines how far towards zero adjustment the pistons return to. I thought I had filed a message a while back from Dennis Haynes mentioning which brands of rear wheel cylinders come with the oem springs to prevent them from receding and causing a soft pedal. I can't find it... Anyone recall which brands to watch for, and who carries them? Mine are not leaking, but look pretty rough, so I'd like to get the good ones in there. Thx
