Thanks to all (especially Bryan) for your help. I'm a relatively new Vanagon owner and being stuck in a field with a broken, 22 year old vehicle that's impossible to find parts for is more than a little unnerving. Of course, it was Folk Fest and the tequila helped. As it turns out, what was wrong with the front end was darn near everything. Lehman's did a great job. Four weeks and $1800 later my Westy rides like a Cadillac. OK, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but the ride is superb. I don't know what I would have done without Bryan, this list, the guys at Bus Depot and Chad at Lehman's. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! |
