Posting again. I've been fighting with the idle air circuit for the last week or two, ever since I finished installing my AC and have connected the green/white wire from near the coil to the AC on signal. I swaped the Idle Air Control relay box and the Idle Air Valve with no change to the problematic symptoms. Once the engine warms up, the idle floats around 2K RPM with the AC on. I have the green/white wire connected directly to the wire that powers the AC clutch. Can someone tell me if this green/white wire connects to the AC compressor normally. I'm wondering if I'm missing some circuit (like a diode) that is built into later model AC compressors, and if I need to add some electronics to make this work If this is the case, what compressor are you running. Thanks, Kim |
