Mike, That is very interesting. I would be tempted to use the device outputs to first>control an action that would reduce head temperature and second>sound and an alert when the first does does not succeed. Just spit-balling here; you could program a setpoint which triggers a relay to alters the output of the O2 sensor to (falsely) report a leaner exhaust. The ECU would then enrich the mixture, cooling the combustion chambers.
