I recall, several years ago, responding to a fellow on a local ham radio 2mm repeater who was always correcting newbies who didn't follow "old" voice radio protocols suggesting that the FCC is the legitimate regulator of amateur radio frequency usage, and one of the last "things" the hobby needs is a wannabe frequency cop sitting atop the 2mm frequencies acting like some sort of authority. I agree with the suggestion, below, that the list manager is the person/resource who/which should have been the sole addressee on David's email. SamC
