the ones on the left side are far more exposed to the open air than the ones on the right side, nicely tucked away under the air box. so on the left side the boots over the top of the injectors go bad sooner and grit and moisture can build up and interfere with the signal to the injector. I taped up the wires to the injectors on the left (I mean left as you look at the engine from the rear bumper) completely with electrical tape, easier than using new boots, and my mileage went up slightly. when it rained I noticed a huge drop in mileage and this bit of electrical tape fixed that. your mileage may vary. sorry, couldn't resist. oops, another one.
