I recently converted to a sporty steering wheel and adapter for the vanagon that i got on german ebay, but, i cannot see how fast i am going any more. To remedy that, I have to go back to something bigger. going back to stock would be too hard for me though. Did anyone try the eurovan wheel?

Flo,

I think you'd have the same problem since the T4 (EV) steering wheel is smaller in diameter (and fatter) than the original one on your T3. Besides I doubt the splines are compatible and then, there's the issue of the airbag in the T4 steering wheel. Maybe you'd just have to disable that...? All adds up to a significant PITA that even should you accomplish it, you'd still end up not seeing how fast you are going.

Now, there are those who would say that it is not an issue, we can't go fast enough to worry about our speed anyhow but we should ignore them in advance...;-)
