John,

I am so sick of looking at the cracked lenses on my PZ lights that I might be willing to cut the holes. Any chance this lamp would drop into the original PZ housing? I'm not worried about resale value, it'll be mine til one of us dies.

It will be only a short time before we start seeing LED fog and driving lamps for automotive applications like this. The current emmiters are plenty bright and very shallow mounts are needed. I'm sure there will be plenty of advice on how to hook them up too.
