John,

Pics would help.

To answer your question I would NEVER cut a hole in my camper's body nor would I purchase one with a hole cut in it.

Chris.

I was ready to take them over to the plastics supply house that is going to run them for me, but discovered that the lamp from DS, while a very excellent lamp which includes built in direction adjusters - has a connection point that sticks out significantly on the back of the lamp. To put the assembly together as is - ie, without modifying the plastic grille piece, requires that a hole about the size of a quarter be cut into the front sheet metal in order to accommodate the protruding connector.

My question is - what is everyones feeling about that hole as part of the price of having these very nice grille extensions with adjustable fog lamps?

I would like to hear from everyone who has an opinion.

List Vendors - please respond also, with your view as to how that will impact later sales when people learn they have to cut a hole to make it fit.

Responses most appreciated.

Thanks,

Regards,
