Maybe, they just didn't like or could not afford new doors. Mine did not do as well. The former owner/smuggler took a sledge hammer to the doors and Bondo'd then shut. Customs did manage to take the vehicle away from him eventually auctioned it after much cutting and further smashing.

It was heartbreaking to see how cherry she was before the DPO got ahold of her. Apparently listmember Glen Cook sold it to the aforementioned previous owner for substantially more than what I paid. Of course, he had pics showing how relatively pristine the truck was before.
