Yeah, no doubt. For $700 you could buy a wrecked Golf or Jetta MK3 and have a nice factory 115 HP motor and modern Motronic engine management. With the VW CE2 wiring harness electrical hookup is just a couple wires. Sure, I'm simplifying somewhat but still seems like a much better long term solution to keeping these old vans going. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Jake de Villiers Sent: Sunday, September 23, 2007 12:38 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Replacement AFM technology Yeah and only $700!! To eliminate another "shortcoming" of the WBX motor. Starting to make a conversion look less expensive still. :) On 9/23/07, Paul Guzyk <paullist@guzyk.com> wrote: > > What about this solution? has anyone tried it? > > http://www.gowesty.com/library_article.php?id=804 >
