Hi All, So the other day we went to turn a corner (and when I say "we" I actually mean "she-who-must-be-obeyed") and had a bit of an accident with a parked car. We now have some scrapes down the side of our van by the right rear wheel, and a thin gap is visible in the paint between the body panels there. What's the best way to repair/plug this gap so it doesn't rust? Appearance isn't a huge issue right now, but I'll probably want to repair it so it looks nicer at some point in the next few years. I'm thinking goop some white POR-15 in the gap? Izzat a good, bad, or ugly idea? Do I need to sand down the paint in the area first? Thanks! tabe johnson/87 westy |
