As long as we are critiquing posting style, can we please leave the "Fwd:"
or "Re:" out of the subject line when responding to a post? It causes email
clients to ungroup the messages thus disrupting the thread. Also, please
refrain from changing the subject of a message you are replying to. It also
ungroups the messages in a thread.

Just returning from a three week trip and catching up on the email.. I just
ran into the third thread where it was obvious that people started writing
an answer before reading the whole original message.  Please people, read
and understand the question before cluttering the list with answers that
don't make any sense based on the information provided in the original
message.  Example:  "I pumped the brakes several times but the pedal still
went all the way to the floor"  and the response was "Did you try pumping
the brakes?"  And as for watching a thread get completely off the original
topic enough has been said about that in the past.
Okay, off my soap box and donning Nomex....
